Simile Snakes and a Super Sale

Yay! Our Simile Snakes are finished - and are climbing up into the branches on the bulletin board. :)

They started as wire and newspaper and masking tape

Progressed to papier mache

Then to painting

And finally to the finished product

Then we spent an enjoyable lesson writing similes to describe our snakes, copied them onto leaves and they will be attached to our snakes on the bulletin board. It was a FUN project - and don't these snakes have character?!!!

I love these integrated lessons - art and language, art and math, art and science ... so much fun.

And the Sale part of the post is the Sunday Super Sale at TpT.

A 28% site-wide sale - promotion code SUPER - on Sunday February 3rd. There are some fantastic products (I have a HUGE wishlist now :) ) made by some great teachers. (My own store can be found here if you are interested in checking it out :)

Have a great weekend.
